Fixed Term Contract for 24 Months
Salary Band D £24,491 to £30,451 per annum. Incremental progression is subject to performance.
Solihull Community Housing’s Money Advice Team is looking to recruit an experienced Money Advice Caseworker into an 24 month fixed term contract. Candidates must have experience of FCA regulated Money Advice activities and hold the Certificate in Money Advice Practice or be working towards it.
You will be required to provide holistic money advice and support our tenants and clients with their income, expenditure and debts, maximising income, identifying and claiming welfare benefits and completing affordability assessments. You will be able to demonstrate a customer focused approach and will need good telephone skills as well as the ability to conduct ‘face to face’ interviews in an office environment.
Candidates should have be able to work effectively with clients to resolve problems, have experience of dealing with vulnerable clients and those with additional support needs
You may be required to work from different locations so the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is necessary, as is a good understanding of IT systems and the ability to work under pressure.
