Coventry University Students Union has an opportunity for a motivated individual to manage the advice service and advisers at Coventry Campus including CU Coventry, ensuring the provision of high-quality, confidential advice and representation on welfare, education, money/financial guidance, benefits, housing and related matters in a client-centred way.
You will deliver key business priorities under the direction of the Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager and the Campus Engagement Manager. A key task will be to collect data statistics and provide regular reports on trends to support decision-making for the development of CUSU’s welfare and inclusion work, and overall strategy to enhance the student experience across the Coventry University Group.
You must have experience of analysing and interpreting data to provide evidence in supporting of decision making as well as supervising advisor casework.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of providing advice on range of issues, including at least two of the following areas: academic advice, housing, debt, immigration, welfare benefits, student funding and financial capability. You should also hold a minimum of Level 3 qualifications (e.g. A Levels), however a degree or a relevant advice qualification and/or equivalent work experience is highly desirable..
This post is permanent working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
