Looking for the next step in your career in advice? Anglia Ruskin Students’ Union are looking for an Advice Centre Manager to lead our Advice Teams across our campuses in Chelmsford and Cambridge, providing outstanding levels of advice and support to Anglia Ruskin students.
Our Advice Service is free, confidential, impartial and accredited with AQS (Advice Quality Standard). We advise, support and represent students in person, by email, telephone and through our website on wellbeing and academic problems.
In addition to providing advice to students during periods of high demand, you will also represent the Students’ Union on academic committees as required. As a member of the management team, you will lead on the continued development of Students’ Union Advice, in line with strategic objectives, as well as producing regular reports relating to the service.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in advice or support work
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Evidence of attention to detail
- Able to describe and demonstrate strong leadership skills
This role is cross-campus; you’ll be based on your “home” campus (either Chelmsford or Cambridge) for 3 days per week, spending the remaining 2 days per week working on the other campus.
